No test like the present
I present: a test.
Don’t get testy,
Or protest your lack of interest,
Because this, dear friend,
Is only a test.
An infinitesimally
Egregious pest
Maybe, but, we protest:
A necessity
How this will go is anyone’s guess
But it’s best
To test
To reduce stress,
Learn lessons,
And ensure some measure
Of success.
In short: invest.
Nevertheless,
No-one should confuse this test
With something in excess
Of its remit: it isn’t meant
To be anything other than a test,
Settling eventually,
And the rest
Is merely busy silence.
Here endeth the test.
(Sooner or later, we suggest,
It’s time to stop prototyping
And commit your resources
To reality, meaningfully.)
